I’m so lucky but I was able to join the Saturday Quilting Bee that Laura, from Laura’s Quilt-atelier, organizes. Someone left the group and so there was a place for me.
The projects these quilters are busy with are amazing and so many different kind of styles as you will see a little later.
This in the entrance to the Atelier! It is hidden away in one of the streets in the center of Amersfoort. The old centre!
Love the window display
One of the projects!!!
It is a replica of this pattern.
Another amazing project. A log cabin variation.
Love the detail.
This is what it looks like so far.
Again another project
Lots of quilters and aspiring quilters will recognize this pattern. Yes, Love Entwined! Designed from a picture in the book below to a pattern by Esther Aliu, an Australian quilter.
The above quilt is definitely going on my Bucket List. it will be one of the projects I will start on when I retire. When ever that will be!
A wedding ring quilt.
When finished, the wedding ring, will look like this.
Wow, a beautiful purse. Lovely fabric. Love the colors!
Another project completed in the summer, by one of the quilters in this group.
Can’t wait to see all the completed blocks of the quilt in progress below.
The above quilter is also busy with an other project.
She is also busy with a third project. Don’t know the name of the quilt, this flower will go onto.
One of the quilters attending this Bee just had a birthday, so we were in for a treat.
This one I chose. So cute!
Finally, some insight on the project I will be busy with during this Bee. I participated with this BOM sometime ago but so far haven’t done anything with it. For those who don’t know me yet, I participate in lots of BOM’s. I just don’t have time to start with any of them. I love this quilt that was designed by Laurie Simpson and Polly Minick. Looks like I’m finally going to start on this quilt.
Me, cutting the fabric. With some advice from Laura, I dare to start.
Can't wait till next month!
