I couldn’t resist ordering my own Civil War Layer Cake Reproduction fabric from Barbara Brackman, when I saw the fat-quarter pack of the Metropolitan Fair collection at the www.fatquartershop.com .

I was sold, I clicked on the button ‘add to cart’ and with a swiftness you can’t image I was on the PayPal site paying. I didn’t have to wait to long. I ordered it on the 4th of January and today the postman delivered my package.
Want to read more about this collection visit this blog, by clicking here. As you can see the postman also brought my copy of Quiltmania
.
I just threw the 42 10inch squares in the wash machine for a quick rinse. I also added these:
the 10 fat-quarters I bought just before Christmas. Can’t wait to cut into them to make some baby Jane blocks. I’m making progress, look I finished another baby Jane.
Oops, I thought I was finished. I now see, I still have to remove some thread from the left petal
. Don’t you just love those close-ups.
