Here is a close-up of the fabrics that are now washed and ironed.
My craving for reproduction Civil War fabrics never ceases to surprise me. You know the feeling, where you not only want something, but you know you need to have it too. According to some specialists it is the dopamine that is tricking my brain, making it believe it will get happiness. The stress hormones essentially tricks the body into believing the only way to feel better is to succumb to it.
Well I feel pretty happy after ironing the fabric and folding the 10 inch squares into neat little piles. Is it the dopamine or just being content that I was able to buy these fabrics
Any way, before I knew it, I was sitting behind the table cutting the fabric to make another baby Jane. Smile girl! Guess by now you realize I’m happy.
Actually, I just woke up one day and decided I didn’t want to feel like that anymore, so I changed. Just like that ![]()
I started on the H-9 ~ Snowflake Melt.
All the pieces are laid out. The tiny diamonds will be appliquéd on the white centre fabrics
Crave for a thing, you will get it. Renounce the craving, the object will follow you by itself. ~ Swami Sivananda
PS, I really love working on this quilt, but I’m sure you guessed that by now.
