About Me

Helen: I’m a quiltmaker who in her spare time, of which I never have enough, tries to find serenity & the attitude for gratitude while making quilts. I love everything that has to do with traditional quilting. I've been quilting since 2006. Aagje Admiraal, has taught me the basics of hand piecing & quilting. She teaches in Putten, a small village in the middle of the Netherlands. I ponder on questions of life. I’ve started to appreciate the simplicity in my moments. I’m still a rookie at the practice of gratitude. I’m learning that being thankful in everything is more important than being thankful for something. I love writing down my roving thoughts and sharing them with you. I hope you find something on here that makes you smile or makes you think. Or both.
