OEQC 2011

It has been donkey years since I have been to the OEQC. I think it was maybe 15 years ago. This year there where some great quilts on display and some creative projects too.

Purchasing lots of nice little goodies!

And this is what I bought. Going to try-out the little iron real soon. First need to finish the baby Jane block Smile. Also got 2 Homespun issues and an other magazine, because of this I got a free fat-quarter. Couldn’t resist the pattern for a tea cosy. Last but not least, purchased some pins and a necklace.

Absolutely loved this ‘Quilt in Miniature’ by Lisa Majerus. This quilt consists of 34 finest quilt examples of Amish & American folk art.

Love this quilt underneath. Look at that happy face. Sadly, can’t find the name of the quilt or designerSad

And this one is lovely too. ‘Little by little’ by Janine Alers.

Had a super day. Need to put up my legs and rest. Four hours of walking has drained all my energy. If you still haven’t made up your mind whether to go, tomorrow is your last chance.

Enjoy mothers day !!
