Guess what I was doing yesterday afternoon? I finally got out my fabric stash and started cutting for another block for my feathered star quilt.

It is pretty tedious work when cutting each piece one by one. First I have to draw around the template onto the fabric. Then cut them out and then place each piece onto a ‘fabric nappy’ according to the pattern. This quilt is definitely a WISP (= work in slow progress).

Wow, that does look like hard work, but it will be worth it in the end.

I love it! Work in slow progress sometimes is the perfect name for some projects, but they are definitely worth it in the end.

Never heard of a WISP before, slow or fast...this will become a wonderful star block. I love seeing work in progress!
