While the ladies were visiting the quilt exposition in Garderen I met up with a friend, Evelien, for a walk. It was great weather, as you can see in the pictures.
We walked from Putten to Drie, which is about 4 kilometres. Maybe a little more! What is nice about these walks? After 4 kilometres you encounter this nice little farmhouse (which has been converted to a restaurant that serves all nice little goodies (and nice food). I had an apple-pie and thee, and Evelien had cake with coffee. After this nice break we walked the whole way back. This was great exercise. Another thing that is nice about these walks – we catch up. We talked all the way up and all the way down. I had a great afternoon.

Isn't the Netherlands beautiful?
